Universal adapter power problems with my Nintendo NES?
I bought a universal adapter and put it to 9v as shown in the old Nintendo system and everything is illuminated. Screen is clear, but the sound was lively. I guess that's the power? I tested this adapter in three of Nintendo and is the same. Must be the universal adapter because I know very well and my nintendo is not the case with the original power adapter. The universal adapter has a different configuration .. addressed some of them .. The same is true to 7.5v. There is an option to put that on 12v but I have not tried it yet. Is it safe to try? Does anyone know what the buzz is on when a game playing?
This will not help, but I posted a similar question. No other random 9-volt AC adapter works with any of the three consoles NES I have. I also tried the universal adapter. He concluded that they probably have to buy the original adapter off ebay. NES original material is expensive!
