Standard Lens – for photographers and photography
Standard Lenses
Located between the configuration of large angle and telephoto capture, setting the standard lens provides the most natural world around us If telephoto from about 70 mm, and wide-angle 35 mm are, then the standard configuration of the lens that are in the middle. With a range of short focal lengths, which can not even seem worth worrying about. However, the angle of view that this part of the capture states that most resembles the central vision of our own eyes. By Therefore, the standard configuration of the lens will provide more natural vision of many issues. Most importantly, the viewing angle ensures the tricks of perspective and optical distortions not deceive the viewer.
A wide angle may tend to stretch elements within a scene, while a telephoto lens to compress – play tricks with perspective. A wide angle also can distort the shape of the subjects when they are close to the lens. A target of 50 mm standard used to be the first objective that the owner had SLR. But although they are the natural integral zoom election, there are good reasons why the 50 mm should be considered for an additional purchase later. The reason is not the focal length, but the maximum aperture width. For the standard 50 mm lens is usually f / 2 or wider. This means that you stop as much as four times more light than typical opening f / 4 maximum mid-range zoom.
This is particularly useful in low light, which means you will be able to use a shutter speed of 1/60sec, for example, which otherwise would have to use 1/15sec. The wide opening also gives a large margin to restrict the depth of field. Wide aperture lenses are available in a series of fixed focal lengths (and some zooms), but 50 mm is the one with the maximum aperture and is the most affordable (and widely available second-hand).
The interior is perfect companion with interior shots in a church or a museum, for example, the packaging of standard 50 mm lens pays dividends. The opening Max lets you shoot handheld would be impossible with a normal zoom, which requires a tripod.
People and their surroundings as the wide-angle lens standard can be used for portraits where you want to show a person's environment. However, 50 mm is more practical if you have enough space to work in.
