Who makes the best digital photography equipment. for work under water?
I would prefer a camera that does not require a waterproof case water. And just has to be water resistant to 90m. Sorry, I meant to type 30 meters for the depth requirement.
The Nikonos is a good camera, however, uses 35 mm film. Not digital. Ikelite compact well built, housing many of the popular spots and shoots. Can be very reasonable in the secondary market. I do not know any of the underwater digital cameras that do not need a home. There are some cheapie "Jazz" proof cameras water of 1.3 MP, but are rated for only 9 yards. You can look at Reefmaster Sealife Series, which includes a compact housing and the camera for a very reasonable price. The DC500 is 5MP and has capacity for 200 feet.
