Do I need an Alpha 900?
I want to make a single digital SLR camera. I was looking at the Sony Alpha 900. I am an aspiring photographer, but until now shooting a point and shoot. I've heard the saying "buy the best camera you can afford" and about $ 5,000 is my limit. Should I get a Sony A900?
No. You want to play the piano, buying a Steinway for $ 50,000 or more will not make a concert pianist. Start with a decent digital SLR camera (so expensive will do.) Take photography classes to get the basics – and start from there. Build your skills and time, you can upgrade your camera. With that amount of money, better to get good lenses and a (camera) decent body that can be updated.
