SLR camera quality?
A photographer told me that megapixels do not play an important role in the quality of an SLR camera – the MP only vary in the size of the image (how the image pixels that may contain). If that's the case, then what determines the quality of a camera SLR?
What determines the quality of an image is the photographer. What determines the quality of a DSLR is how the photographer used. When comparing cameras, megapixel play a role, but not dominant role in determining the quality of a DSLR. Let's break it down on the factors that affect the "quality" of an SLR camera: 1) Ergonomics / quality of construction – This is how the camera operates in the hands of SU. How you feel. How solid is constructed. A well-made camera that has the buttons in the wrong places is a camera that does not like and therefore while it may be strong and resilient, low quality is to you personally. A well-tuned sensor – for processing chip can give you great images with little noise and lots of good color, a bad sensor tuning and a couple of processing chip can give you oily, grainy images with no detail and bad color. Therefore, megapixels, while that are part of the game, are not the only factor in determining the quality of a DSLR, especially the image quality. In fact, I have an example: I have a Fujifilm S5 Pro and Nikon D200. The D200 has 10MP, while the Fujifilm S5 Pro is 6 MP. Both use the same body, but the images are better Fujifilm – better color, less noise at ISO high, and dynamic range. Even capture in RAW format, the S5 Pro is better. Only the place is not in frame per second speed. But otherwise, I think the S5 Pro is a better quality camera because: it takes more pictures in my hands, although it has less megapixels.
