How I can get multiple video input on my single monitor? What hardware should I use? Budget concerns, please ….
Am a video editor, trying to cover an event live show at my church. We will use 3 mini dv camera and microphone one to cover the event. In a production professional will take a live-switching hardware to accommodate the cameras, but is expensive, so I'm trying to find another way around to do that. I was thinking of using simple switch is usually used for multiple-entry for the TV at home, but then I need to monitor the video before making the change, I could use 3 TV with I / O Setup do that, but there is a way I could monitor the video input 3 on a single monitor / TV so I could shoose camera input that I use. Please help.
I will just borrow or use three portable TV screens alittle rackwhich you could make. Resale portable TV are well …. cheap and you can see one or two who did not tune a TV signal arial well …. but receive signal video as well as to use only as a monitor. If you look at the network devices are cheap that you could have one …. Monitor TV with three cameras entering a switching unit 3-way RCA … for around £ 7 … But you should be changing for several more cameras. My suggestion next be to simply let camermen / women to get the best shots … sure each one is increasingly petrson differerant angles or persons, of course. You knows this and problems …. but make sure you have at least one camera to take a variety of everything ….. then you can always cut it if one of the other cameras was in a close and I could not follow the actors at any point on the roof … the mistake of mixing at the general! how expensive is to get a 3way monitor rack … ay .. v expensive or hire one? Finally make sure each camera is from the different points that its not all tapes chnaging at the same time …. or better than …. sure that not all tape chnage the same time!
