What people think of the Nikon D200?
SLR digital camera
I went from a N70 film SLR camera a F100 film SLR camera to a SLR D70 digital SLR camera now a D200. The F100 was perhaps the best film camera Nikon ever made, in my opinion. The D200 is the closest digital SLR cameras the F100 with a reasonable price. That What I like about the D200: Fantastic build quality – body magnesium alloy with time stamps. There is water resistant but I can expose to the elements of concern recently. Very fast autofocus. It is much faster and more need for the D70. Beautiful LCD screen. There is no comparison to the small screen of the D70. Large, bright viewfinder. Not so good on my old F100 confidence, but close. In all a SB600/800, flash performance is first class. built-in flash is very useful, especially when they want to take an external flash. Ideal for photos or need subtle fill flash during the day. 10.2 megapixels is nice, especially when you need to crop in post processing. 5 frames per / sec is sweet when shooting sports. I launched a series of photos of some of my students (I teach) mounted on a swing and jump to me. Every shot was put into focus by about 10 sequences Frame:. What did you like about the D200 low light / high ISO performance is not very good, especially compared with Canon SLR cameras. Can be heavy when worn for long periods of time. The battery does not last as long as the D70s, but that is expected given the larger LCD screen. However, with the new D80 comes out, it is difficult to recommend a D200 to anyone but a serious, professional or amateur experience as the most useful features the D200 the D80 will be priced much lower.
