Help me choose a camera?
Sorry for the repost. When I read the title it sounded like I was helping people choose a camera. lol. Well, fortunately no one answered yet, I am a budding photographer. I have 13 years and I sell my photography to pay for the camera. I would like a digital SLR camera, perhaps canon. I need to know what the half-megapixel. Like everyone says something like "12 megapixels and optical zoom 10x. Are there any other type other than optical zoom? Please tell me what it all means! suggestions are greatly appreciated. Also When Canon 500D says BODY rebels mean I'm getting only the body and I need to buy more things to take pictures?
Optical zoom means that the lens can provide. There is also a digital zoom, but ignore that, it's useless. 12 megapixels is good. Although the quality of the camera and the lens is more important than having a number megapixel high. Body means only the body of the camera lens. If you do not have Canon lenses already, you should buy a package of body + lens. I have a Canon Ixus myself. fantastic camera! For SLR, Digital Rebel is a very good choice!
