Lens Gears Repair

Improve your technique of the curves is a great way to go faster, without having to gradually improve your fitness during the last weeks training road bike. If after a club ride, probably you will find people who are alarmed at the corners and an obstacle to much more than it really needs. In fact, you could even be one of the people taking the curves too slow!

When they're competing, and you can grab faster, then you can overtake people without getting tired. Before starting to practice his technique in the corners, make sure your bike is in good mechanical condition. The worst that could happen halfway through a turn is broken handlebar, wheels fly or get a puncture.

Remember an injury prevents you from doing your training road bike much longer than the 30 minutes it takes to check your bike is working well. After having ascertained you do not run over, find a nice tight turn, where you have a clear view of traffic. Approach the corner at a speed you feel comfortable, and have an idea of the corner. Try taking a few different lines through the corner. Remember that the shortest line is not necessarily the fastest.

If you want to practice taking corners faster, and to include in their training road bike, do the following:

– Brake before the turn, if you are approaching too fast
– Do not touch the brakes while turning
– Get down on the drops
– Look where you want to exit the turn (the bike will follow your eyes automatically)
– Tilting the bike in the turn
– Push down on the outside pedal (the pedal opposite to the direction of the turn)

In curves do not is difficult, just build your confidence up! Some people are uncomfortable relying on their bikes, because they feel that the wheels from slipping below them. You will be surprised how far a bike can actually bend before falling. Stand next to his bike, and slowly lean toward yourself while pushing down on him. See how far you can lean before it slips. The bike I use for training road bike is a Specialized Allez, and has gatorskins Conti and can be tilted about 50 ° – 60 ° before it slides.

So how are the curves with their training road bike?

Really not that hard! When you're on a training ride, you will have twists and turns along your route. Try to take the curves a little faster than you comfortable. Just remember, look through the turn, lean into the corner and push down on the outside pedal.

If you want to stop, put more of their weight on the outside pedal, it is difficult to explain, but it works! Before you know it, you will take corners much faster than before participating in the curves in your training plan road bike.
