SLR digital cameras can be used without removable lenses?
I'm looking to buy a new camera. I've been looking at superzooms, and I have almost decided on the Canon Powershot SX 100 (110) IS. However, I just found a place that offers a substantial discount on the Canon EOS Rebel SXi, so it is almost superzoom exact price, but this offer expires at midnight! I have never used an SLR or a superzoom, but would like to be able to take high quality photos and as a hobby. I just do not want to buy the SLR, and then find it very difficult, or find what I need to buy accessories for it that would be more cost. Any information that might help me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Can be used a DSLR without a detachable lens? Well, yes and no. Not practical sense, yes, in a practical sense. You definitely want contact lenses if you want to take pictures, but there is also what is called the picture pinhole, which does not require the lens. It is rather a creative technique in modern times so the answer to your question is more inclined towards not. If you do not want to buy other accessories, then you probably should go with the superzoom. You do not really specify what kind of shot that will be doing. A digital SLR finally have "higher quality shots, but the kit lens, that you have not mentioned the inclusion of, a 3X wide angle, zoom tele moderated. If insufficient Shooting for your needs, you must purchase a different lens. The superzoom, by contrast, is an all inclusive package. As for the complicatedness: SLR has digital auto modes too, but they also have a number of manuals and creative ways if you decide to explore photography in a deeper level. Understanding in these settings is a 10-minutes-away study guide. The superzoom has the advantage of video recording and a compact design. I think also SX100/SX110 Manual modes.
