I am thinking of buying a digital video recorder – not a TiVo.?
I have an HDTV, connected to the DTV antenna. I do not want TiVo I do not want to pay monthly fees for programming. At this time, do not care about blu-ray or HD formats play, because I mainly want to record from TV, too similar to using an old VHS recorder. What machines are available which do you recommend?
The best way is to get a DVR from Direct TV. You have to pay for DVR service provider anyother anyway. No other easy way around the monthly fee unless you are willing to create their own PVR with a PC using Linux or Windows Vista Media Center. Cheers! Antil0ck
