What is ISO in digital cameras, what is it?
I HAVE A GUN SX100, and has an ISO that can be changed from 80 to 2,600, BUT WHAT IS THE ISO? I mainly take pictures outdoors and indoors with good amount of light entering. MUST BE SET MAX ISO OR UNDER, REFERRED TO 80 OR 2600? THANKS.
ISO is a measure of sensitivity to light of a light-sensitive surface, a film or digital sensor. A low ISO like 80 or 100 will give the best results in terms of image quality is concerned.
