How long you have to load the Canon Rebel XTi/400d battery before it goes flat?
My Canon came [today, and the battery was not charged and comes with an American style freight cars [Im in England], but there was a small plug on the back to put in a plug. The cable for charger not included so settled for one where the tension is much lower than the position in the battery charger. It charged for about 2 hours and told me to change camera the battery in 5 minutes. Is this the fault of the battery or charger? I would like t know because I do not want to go flat when I go to Paris next week
You need a charger that is made for your camera battery. . And when I got my XTi, I had to load a lot longer than 2 hours. Check at a photo shop real and see if they have an appropriate charger. Mine came with one that just plugs into the extension cord or wall. I hope that the charger you use does not ruin your battery. I said they never use anything but the battery recommended by Canon.
