usual canon camera lights?
I recently received a Canon PowerShot SD1100 digital camera for Christmas. I was taking a photo the other day when my camera got hot, and then off. I have tried my own batteries and batteries, at first said they were charged, while the charger and after the camera lights would be dead. Now no lights at all. HELP?!
Check if the battery was a mark Canon or genre. If you order a camera online for huge savings on the exchange shops often cheaper accessories out of scrap. If that's the case, battery, probably did not have voltage regulation circuits and caused the damage. This voids the warranty. If the Canon OEM battery, that would be covered by the warranty. If people who bought it for you not have your receipt and bought it locally, take it to the store. My shop can print a receipt for the serial number of the camera maybe yours can too.
