Live View DSLR?
As a retired fashion and commercial advertising photographer, my film crew is obsolete. I shot 4×5, 2 ΒΌ to 35 mm. My Olympus camera of choice was for all my work of 35 mm, MF 1, 2 and 4. I've been using one of these points and Olympus cameras automatic. I love visualization Live, I decided to get a digital SLR. And the Olympus E510 offers Live View, something I would love to have had back in the day of 35 mm. I have a large collection of Olympus lenses and was considering buying the 510 when it came out in late June. Most people have of the existence of Canon mind. My question is why? And is the juice worth living light compression?
It really depends on what the photographer would benefit more. If you have Olympus lenses then go with the Olympus. Between Canon, Nikon, Olympus and really no major differences (is one thing, ford chevrolet, everyone will always have a preference). For the most part could not say what the image was to the camera. Personally, I'd go with the feel of the camera in hand, some are simply not feels right, as if they were designed for someone in any way smaller or bigger than me. I shoot a canon slr film, but I would buy a camera Nikon digital SLR any day of the week Rebel Canon 30D or because you feel better and the menu is more logical. The 510 and 410 both have live view. The problem that has delayed the awkward when you press the shutter when the picture is taken, as in the point and shoot models, which is the reason that some people move to an SLR in the first place (currently used only 410 in my store). The delay is not there if you turn off the live view. It is an obscenity delay as the cameras in recent years, but enough where you might miss something. I recommend using the live screen to compose only then will go out to shoot, and never anything with a quick action.
All My Olympus Gear is going Bye Bye. I am going to Medium Format!
